Opened in 2019 and full to capacity ever since, this already iconic hotel, built in the old Midland Bank building in the City of London, combines old traditional grandeur with new world design. With nine restaurants, roof top pool and Lutyens designed board room, the lighting and notably the dimming systems show just how a hotel should be.

This private members club opened in June 2016 to acclaim in its offering of chic sophistication in an old East India Company warehouse. The use of bright colours and dark wood are all brought together with mood lighting. Meeting rooms have funky offset linear troughs providing indirect but effective lighting to any power point presentation. The restaurant and bars are lit for a formal lunch or an intimate liaison.

Housed in a terrace of town houses from the 1780’s the hotel has recently been re- designed and curated to reflect its Georgian heritage. With a combination of industrial-inspired detail and a rich palette of colours and textures, once again the mood lighting enhances all these attributes.

A Corbyn and King masterpiece with the Anthony Gormley designed “Room” sitting inside the carcus of a 60’s robot. “A cave, a tomb, a womb or a padded cell” quotes A.G. where the lights are very seriously dimmed. Once again dimming systems are extensively used throughout the hotel to create the perfect ambience and the guests’ experience”

Built in 1987 this all suite hotel provides an urban retreat in a harbour side haven on the banks of the Thames. With masses of natural daylight the use of dimming systems is paramount to achieving the right setting at the right time.

Established in 1867, this hotel has the old world grandeur as shown in the original staircase, now seldom used. Dimming is seen everywhere, especially in the corridors where one circuit of room door spots dims to 30% at night with the remainder of the corridor at 20%
